With stylish curves, fine woodworking, and highly advanced circuitry, this Electronic Mandolin is in a class of it’s own. It features ten strings, three different pickup systems, and several Midi Controllers. There are three faders, four buttons, two arcade “tapper” switches, and an accelerometer. Each of these controls can be programmed to Midi effects and parameters. The five way pickup selector switch also sends Midi data. This allows you to set your Midi effects and virtual plugins to respond when you change pickups, creating entire effect chains specific to each pickup. Accelerometers in the headstock can also be assigned to Midi devices, allowing you to change filters and other parameters just by shaking or turning the instrument. This feature provides incredibly intuitive control over effects like wah filters and vibrato.

Three different pickup technologies give a wide palate of tone. We chose a Seymour Duncan 59 in the bridge for classic Jazz and Rock, a Fishman Piezo pickup under the saddle for acoustic sounds, and a Sustainiac pickup in the neck for unreal sustaining effects. Livid Instruments provides the “Brain” for Midi routing.
